With thankfulness to God, we proudly conclude the Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat Memorial Cricket Tournament – Season III, a tournament organized to honor the life, faith, and enduring legacy of Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat (1952–2020), a Giant of Faith whose vision continues to inspire unity, leadership, and service within our community.
The purpose of this tournament was to promote fellowship, healthy sports activities, youth engagement, and unity among different ministries and teams while remembering the values of faith and discipline taught by Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat.
The tournament journey began with the Opening Ceremony at Hayatabad Cricket Stadium, graciously inaugurated by Chairman AGAPE Trust, Pastor Hanook Hashmat, along with Mrs. Zeenat Hashmat and family. Their presence set the tone for a meaningful and well organized event.
A total of 15 competitive matches were played with great enthusiasm by the participating teams: ABI Team, Pastors Team, AGAPE Trust Team, AG Alive Youth Team, Church Team, and Alive Youth Teens. Each team demonstrated true sportsmanship, commitment, and unity throughout the tournament.
The Grand Final was played between AG Alive Youth and AGAPE Trust. After a thrilling match, AGAPE Trust emerged as the winner of Season III. The Winning Trophy was presented to the champion team by Pastor Hanook Hashmat and Mrs. Nida Hanook during the Closing Ceremony.
May this event continue to strengthen bonds, encourage youth, and carry forward the legacy of Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat.
