Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat (Late)
Founder, AG AGAPE TRUST
Rev. Dr. A. R. Hashmat devoted his life to serving God and humanity with unwavering faith, compassion, and visionary leadership. His remarkable journey of ministry began through profound spiritual experiences that strengthened his calling to dedicate his life to advancing the Gospel and uplifting underserved communities across Pakistan. Throughout his life, Rev. Dr. Hashmat experienced what he believed to be God's divine guidance through prayer, dreams, and the work of the Holy Spirit. These experiences shaped his commitment to establishing churches, nurturing Christian communities, and serving people with love, dignity, and hope.
Before entering full-time ministry, he worked professionally while pursuing theological education. His spiritual journey eventually led him to Bible training in England, where his conviction to serve Pakistan grew even stronger. Returning to Peshawar by faith, he answered what he believed was God's call to establish a thriving ministry in a region where Christian communities faced significant challenges. His ministry officially expanded in 1989 with the establishment of the Assemblies of God Church in Peshawar. Through decades of dedicated leadership, he helped establish more than forty churches, mentored pastors and ministry leaders, and inspired countless individuals through his message of faith, service, and perseverance.
Recognizing the growing humanitarian needs of vulnerable communities, Rev. Dr. Hashmat founded AG AGAPE TRUST in 2006 as a Christian faith-based, non-profit humanitarian and development organization. His vision extended beyond church ministry, embracing education, healthcare, community development, humanitarian relief, and sustainable empowerment initiatives that continue transforming lives today. Rev. Dr. Hashmat firmly believed that true faith is demonstrated through compassionate action. His enduring legacy continues to inspire AG AGAPE TRUST to serve every individual with integrity, excellence, and Christ-centered compassion.

Pastor Hanook Hashmat
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Pastor Hanook Hashmat serves as the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of AG AGAPE TRUST, providing strategic leadership while continuing the vision established by the organization's founder. He also serves as the Lead Pastor of the Assemblies of God Churches of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, faithfully leading both spiritual and humanitarian initiatives.
With an academic background in Business and Management alongside formal Theological Studies, Pastor Hanook combines professional expertise with servant leadership. His unique blend of administrative capability and pastoral ministry enables AG AGAPE TRUST to deliver impactful programs with integrity, accountability, and excellence.
Beyond his leadership within Pakistan, Pastor Hanook also serves as the Prayer Coordinator for Asia on the platform of the Pentecostal Asian Mission, contributing to regional collaboration and strengthening ministry networks across Asia.
As an entrepreneur and organizational leader, he believes that sustainable development requires empowering individuals and communities through education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and compassionate service. Under his leadership, AG AGAPE TRUST continues expanding its humanitarian programs while remaining firmly rooted in Christian values and community-centered development.
Pastor Hanook works alongside a dedicated leadership team and his family in pursuing the Trust's mission of serving marginalized and underserved communities across Pakistan. Together they remain committed to building resilient communities, restoring dignity, and creating lasting opportunities for future generations.
His leadership is guided by the belief that lasting transformation occurs when faith is expressed through practical service, responsible stewardship, and genuine compassion.
